Spotlight Club

Lancaster's Spotlight Club is a live-writing venue in Lancaster, UK dedicated to bringing new and different writing, performers, readers and musicians to the stage.


  Held in an upstairs bar at The Yorkshire House Pub the   atmosphere is informal and supportive. With a small
  stage, full lighting rig and 24 channel PA Spotlight attracts,  on average audiences of 50 - 60 people so come early to
  get a seat!

  Spotlight has hosted a melange of the best in North West  original live-writing, comedy and music on the 3rd Friday
  of each month since December 1995.

  Spotlight encourages diversity and we welcome every genre of writing from the comic to the cosmic.
